Due to the overwhelmingly
positive response that Eckhart has gotten from his books, his organization,
Eckhart Teachings Inc. is supporting the development of local groups around
the world to continue and deepen the benefit of his teaching. Michael has been registered

Attending a Local Group
All are welcome to attend
a Local Group.
Silent Local Group
These groups use
the format recommended by Eckhart Tolle. The group may begin with ten
to twenty minutes of silence (silent meditation) then 45-90 minutes of
an Eckhart audio or video tape, ending with ten to twenty minutes of silence
(silent meditation).
Addressing the Needs and
Desires of the Group (Organic Growth)
The group will begin following the recommendation for a silent group.
Depending on the needs of the members, this format can change, grow, remain
the same, etc. For example, some groups devote a portion of the meeting
to a dialogue to share understanding and address challenges that arise
in trying to integrate the philosophy into their daily lives. Some work
to increase the quality of the silent meditation, etc.
Meetings
Will initially take place in Michael’s home in Edmonds, WA. Meetings
will run from 7:00PM – 9:00PM. As of 9-20-04 interested people are
working with Michael to find the best day of the week to meet.
